David Lee is the Executive Director for the Paper Discovery Center. As Executive Director, Dave directs daily operations and fundraising for the organization.

Dave was raised in Appleton. He graduated from Ripon College with a degree in chemistry, and later received his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Dave began his career as a project chemist at Bergstrom Paper Company (now known as Glatfelter Papers). During his thirty-three years with the company, he held positions including technical superintendent, production manager, and mill manager.

He had been a volunteer at the Paper Discovery Center since its opening and has chaired the Education and Exhibits committees at the Paper Discovery Center.
